Founder of Burtergill Stud,   Arnold van Asch,  has been breeding South Devon cattle in the Awatere Valley just South of Blenheim for over 35 years. In 2004 he went into partnership with his son, Richard. 

Both Arnold and Richard consider themselves straight forward honest people, who put their clients needs first.  They  are  passionate about the cattle they breed and aim to produce sound, early maturing, polled cattle with placid temperaments, medium frames and good fleshing. 

They guarantee their cattle  with complete confidence.
